I'm a backend-focused software engineer with 4+ years of experience building systems where reliability, performance, and correctness aren't optional—they're essential.
My Background
I started my career after completing the MEST Africa software engineering program in 2020, where I learned to build products that solve real problems. Since then, I've worked across fintech, trading platforms, and retail systems—always on the backend where the critical logic lives.
At Skippa Trading, I built notification infrastructure that needed to be faster than competitors—and maintained 99.9% uptime because traders don't wait for slow systems. At BusyParade, I designed BusyOs from scratch: a complete POS system handling real money, real inventory, and real business operations.
What sets me apart isn't just technical skill—it's my ability to own problems end-to-end. I don't just write code; I understand business requirements, design appropriate solutions, implement them cleanly, and make sure they work in production.
